Economic Crisis

A fairly good portrayal of what's happened thus far. I'd call this an expedition to Everest or something like that. I suppose part of the equation here is why should the employees of the rescue helicopter (us tax payers) pay to help out the expeditioneers? If we can break even or make money - I suppose it's worth the risk, but if the rescue helicopter is overloaded and doesn't make it back to base camp - then there's real trouble in the works. I suppose I'm still undecided if the "bail out" was the correct move, but I tend towards it only postponing the inevitable in that the banks and financial institutions will eventually have to pay up - the crevasses will keep getting bigger unless their memory gets better.
